Cambie construction rant again.
Two weeks ago, they decided to close one of the crosswalks in the intersection (this might be the 3rd time). I could not go to Tony’s Beef Noodle or Samurai Sushi, unless I walk one block east and jaywalk the very busy, four-laned 41st Ave. Last week, they put in a temporary crosswalk and hired housewives to stand there and show people where the crosswalk was. I guess those women just lost their jobs to a piece of duck tape.
Batman now #2. I feel like seeing it again, just so it has a chance to beat Titanic.

After some tedious hacking procedure, I got apn and proxy working on my iPhone to enjoy the snail slow $7/month unlimited web browsing. As a result of this, my mobile number has changed, so please ask me for the new number if I haven’t given it to you already.
I enjoy the convenience of having mobile internet connection, but Gmail, GReader and Flickr gotta fix their sites to load faster. I like being able to take a picture, geotag it and upload it on the fly. Right now it works pretty well with Twitter + TwitPIc. Flickr is too slow.

When I saw this, I looked around immediately and checked if I have stepped on one (or two). I always have this dream about Chicken flying out of the window.
Oooh, so The Dark Knight became the third biggest box-office movie in the U.S. of all time (#1 Titanic, #2 Star Wars). Is it really that good? I saw it with Alex and Jon last week and I didn’t think it was “OMG-WTF-POLAR-BEAR” (LOST reference). I was probably too distracted by the iMax screen.

The question to yesterday’s 366 was “Did you get an iPhone?”. I thought the photo gave away enough hints: a typical cellphone cam quality pic in portrait mode = taken by iPhone.
No, this is not the new 3G. It is an used original iPhone 2G. No, I did not pay $999 for this app. Yes, it is unlocked and jailbroken.
